With an eye for contemporary, yet classic, styles, artist Marcus Jiang
has been honing his craft at kimrobinson Singapore since 2009.
The Shandong native first became interested in hair at a young age, but it was only after his studies that he found the opportunity to work outside of China and his love for hair began to develop and mature. Marcus considers his greatest professional achievement to date his success as the first kimrobinson Singapore artist from Mainland China.
A student of the kimrobinson philosophy of believable beauty, Marcus always considers the “essentials” before any consultation: facial shape and features and the ease of maintenance away from the studio.
“I overcame challenges such as the language barrier by putting any shyness aside and building a strong foundation through hard work,” Marcus says. “I had great mentors such as Daniel Ng and Jennie Sng to guide me through my training. I have a passion for meeting people from different walks of life, constantly learning and appreciating design and aesthetics on and off the runway.”
